A New Chapter for Community-Led Development
The West Broadway Business and Area Coalition (WBC) is excited to announce the acquisition and future redevelopment of a commercial property in the heart of North Minneapolis. This building will soon become the West Broadway Retail Accelerator—a dedicated space designed to uplift local entrepreneurs, expand access to essential services, and drive inclusive economic development.

What We’re Building

A dynamic, multi-use commercial hub that includes:

  • A Community Coffee Shop
    A welcoming anchor space for connection, collaboration, and daily life on West Broadway.

  • Seven Retail Storefronts
    Affordable, ground-level commercial space for Northside entrepreneurs to launch and grow businesses in fashion, wellness, home goods, personal care, and professional services.

  • Three Office Spaces

    • A locally owned insurance agency

    • A locally-owned accounting firm

    • The new headquarters for the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition

These professional service providers will offer vital resources to residents and businesses while grounding the project in long-term economic stability.
