What is Black Business Week?

Black Business Week Minneapolis is a free, community-centered event dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Black-owned businesses across the city. The week will feature an exhibition of Black-owned businesses in Minneapolis, giving job-seekers, business owners, creatives, and aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to expand their networks, hear directly from local officials about how to bid for procurement opportunities, and learn more about existing resources. Partnering with the City of Minneapolis, we host a variety of events throughout the week—including the Black Business Week Street Mall—that highlight the creativity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit of Black-owned businesses.
