Broadway Beautiful 2026 Grant Program 

Overview 

West Broadway Business and Area Coalition (WBC) 2026 Broadway Beautiful Funds grant program will provide funds for physical improvements on buildings within 100 feet of West Broadway Avenue. The Broadway Beautiful program is designed to support business and property owners in improving their spaces while promoting overall beautification and revitalization after the impact of COVID and social unrest. 

Application Start Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2026 

Application Deadline: Friday, March 06, 2026 

Award Notifications: by April 1, 2026

Average Grant size: $1,500-$10,000

Eligibility 

  • Must have a business or property on or within 100 ft of West Broadway Avenue between 2nd Ave N and 26th Ave N. 

  • Must be a member of the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition (If you are awarded a grant, in a needs-based situation, WBC can take the membership fee out of the grant amount awarded. See enclosed membership information.) 

Requirements 

  • Have a current bid for the improvement needed. 

  • Manage all project work 

  • Payments will be made directly to the contractor (50% up front, 50% upon completion of all work) 

  • If the applicant is not the property owner, they must have the property owner’s written approval 

  • The contractor must sign a lien waiver upon completion of the project 

  • Provide before and after photos 

  • These funds MUST be spent by the end of 2026 or you will need to reapply the following year, with no guarantees of approval.

Budget and Funding 

  • Projected program budget: $50,000 

  • Businesses will be able to apply up to $10,000 in funding for their project.
