When you become a member of the WBC, you are enhancing your stake by supporting an organization that works to create a more inviting atmosphere and positive image for the area, which in turn will lay the foundation for ongoing development. Some of this work includes:

  • -Advocacy on public policy, planning, and projects aimed at improving the corridor which, among other things, has resulted in the development of the West Broadway Alive Plan for the corridor and the decision by the Minneapolis Public Schools to build their new headquarters on the avenue.
  • -Operating a highly successful Façade Improvement Program
  • -Regular Networking and Informational Meetings
  • -Northside Business Luncheons (members receive free meal)
  • -FLOW Northside Arts Crawl
  • -Active Business Committee
  • -Business Resource Brokering
  • -West Broadway Farmers Market
  • -Advocacy for those in need regarding ordinance changes, licensing and inspections issues
