The WBC engages the business, civic, and non-profit community infused with resident input through operating committees that guide our work. These committees consist of:
West Broadway Farmers Market Committee Contact Erin at email@example.com to sign up for the mailing list or for more information.
Planning, Zoning, and Development Committee provides the opportunity for residents and business owners to learn about new projects and give input on development and licensing outcomes. Within the PZD Committee, in 2014, the WBC will coordinate outreach on public transportation alternatives (street car, bus rapid transit) on West Broadway. The PZD Committee meets as needed. Meeting notices are sent regarding meeting dates, times and location. Contact Erin at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The West Broadway Area Business Committee is a strong network of for-profit and nonprofit businesses and residents supporting one another, seeking creative solutions and promoting a welcoming, wealth-generating West Broadway. The Business Committee is a collaboration of and co-chaired by the Hawthorne Neighborhood Council and the WBC. The Committee meets monthly, typically the last Thursday of the month, to address action items and network. Check our calendar for upcoming meetings. Contact Shaina at shaina@westbroadway for more information.
The West Broadway Transit Committee was formed in response to the rapidly changing public transportation landscape in North Minneapolis. The goals of this committee is to ensure that the community is informed on planned transit improvements, and to leverage future transit improvements in North Minneapolis. Meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of every month at 9:00AM. Contact Rob Hanson at email@example.com to sign up for the mailing list.
